I was uni-nstalling and wanted to reinstall to have a new wallet.

I used window installer to remove OKcash wallet and i deleted the file folders.

I reinstalled OKcash and the old wallet was still there..with same password.

So how do i clean it up for reinstall?

For security, when you uninstall it, it does not delete the wallet. (so you dont lose coins even with uninstall in case you got some in wallet)

To delete the old wallet you have to manually do it over the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\OKCash folder and delete wallet.dat (wallet.dat is the wallet holding the private keys for those OK addresses and coins, so make sure you dont have any in there before deleting the wallet if you want a new one)

There is no need to create a new wallet tho, you can just create new addresses in the same wallet for new payments, but as you requested to learn how to delete it, this is the way.

Thank you for your response Oktoshi.

So I can copy the wallet.dat to jump drive.

wipe the computer hard drive.

then reload the Okcash wallet

then copy over the wallet.dat and have my coins?

basically i can have cold storage by removing the wallet DAT file to a safe location?
