Very nicely put and thank you for sharing opinion on OKCash.  It has been a good discussion.

It seems like this coin had good development awhile ago then it just stopped.  Most coins have positives and negatives which in my opinion development is key for the success of a digital coin.  Noobs do need to do research before purchasing a coin.  Most of them are way over valued in my opinion and only a few will actually be worth anything.

As far as XLM goes, it has a nonprofit foundation to run it and support it's growth which is doing.  The foundation members have been involved in digital currencies for a long time and are showing progress with developing it (it's not just updating the code).  It has a total supply of 100 billion which is a concern of mine : Here are the stats on them and what some of them are set aside for: https://dashboard.stellar.org/.  There is a lot of trust in the foundation to handle these additional coins correctly so only time will tell.

The other coins I mentioned (not invested in) have interesting blockchain ideas and/or communities.  I suggest everyone read about them and decide for themselves if they want to invest in them and/or be part of their community

Issues with OKCash:
-Does not look like it has a developer
-Source code is copied from other sources and the modifications were done awhile ago.
-Very basic coin with staking and can be easily reproduced.  I could take OKCash source code, change the logo, and restart the block chain but also give myself millions of coins first ;)
-Community is not very active except for the spammer here
-The causes seem to be non-existing to get people to bite
-Name change from pimpcash to okcash (https://bitcoingarden.org/pimpcash-rebranded-to-okcash/)
-No POS3

I feel the people that have large amounts of these staking coins sell small portions of their staked coins when the price is high maybe across markets so they get a high price before the value drops.  When the value drops then they will wait for the price to go back up or they can get it to go up by selling coins high.  Pretty much controlling the value of a coin like OkCash to make regular income off others when it is not panic selling.  Maybe I'm just being paranoid about this because it's hard for me to prove.  Check this wallet and it looks funny to me: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ok/wallet.dws?39558.htm

What makes you think that this coin is worth investing in?

My bet is this coin will continue to lose value and die.  I don't see any development and other coins seem a lot better even if they are more expensive.   I like Stellar Lumens but Wazes, RockRails, Ethereum, and Decred all seem nice.  NAV also seems cool but very small development team and lacks organization.

You would think these people would care about this currency:

I guess they are retired :)

I like using a desktop wallets since I have a dedicated VM for my cryptocurrencies.

OK needs more development.  The wallet is taking forever to sync so a light client would be nice for people that don't want to stake.

We need to start getting community projects listed and voted on.  These need to be funded by either the large stake holders right now and/or staking funds if we want this community to grow in my opinion.

Projects:
-Improve website, integrate forums.
-Windows 64bit client
-PoS 3 implementation
-Client voting and projects listed.  Once a project is approved then we could bid it out and then vote to approve it.

List what you would like :)

I wish I would have seen this earlier because I've been downloading for awhile.

This would be nice to get the community more involved because it seems dead.  The coin has a great concept in my opinion but will take community effort to grow.

The Windows client looks pretty good but needs to be updated to 64bit ;)

I've also been downloading for a couple days now to get the whole blockchain.

The theme looks pretty good even if it was paid for but I agree with it needing to be more developed and the forums needs to be integrated.

There have to be some big coin holders that got in cheap that want this coin to become the standard so where are they?  If they don't want to get involved by donating then we should vote on taking some of the staking money for projects to get this coin to grow.  This should be easy and I could even help with it.  We just need some funds to buy plugins for WP to get everything integrated.
