VOTE ! and choose the answer that suits you the best ! (1 vote per member)

Why did i choose OKCash?

I can be very short on this answer !

The natural growth - this answer suits me the best !

If we observe the markets, and we look to OKCash, we can't get a better deal !

First of all it is forked from Blackcoin, and the past will tell us, that it is a very stable system.

Only Blackcoin does not have a MAX-supply.

OKCash is launched in 2014 ! What a history we have here !

We also see that OKCash is growing in a constant natural rate.
And that is a very good aspect of OKCash ! AND DON'T FORGET THAT !

With a lot of other cryptocurrency's, things got hyped out. because they initialy started with an ICO or so on.
And with greatly funded advertising campaigns, we all can make things right here and right now succesfull right? if we dont have patience?

Than we have the MAX-supply

Almost 70 % of the total OKs are in circulation !

And within around 130 days there is a blockhalving !

If we are going to look at the OKs that are in circulation, it is a very good sign, what the future will bring us !

Because OK will become scarcer at every blockhalving ! (next blockhalving is a everyday staking rate of 0,013 %)

https://okcashblockhalf.com/

The markets

If we look at the charts, OKCash has peaked at around 0,80 USD with almost 73 million coins in circulation ! and a everyday staking rate at 0,027%! in other words with an inflation of 10%.

What vision do you have at the year of 2020?

https://okcashtalk.org/index.php/topic,2227.0.html

and don't forget: WEAK HANDS, GOT WEAK DEALS !

If you have selled to early, don't bother it, and don't think of it anymore, because you decided it was a good time to sell! And life is full of opportunities !

But my advise is to everyone: Don't sell anything on the short term !

And don't invest money, what you need in your everyday life !

(If you have 1200 USD a month and you need 900 USD for coming trough the month than only invest 50-100 USD - DONT LET CRYPTOCURRENCY GAINS, CONTROL YOUR LIFE )

Invest in it, and have this mindset: i will see what the future brings !

THINK LONG TERM - DONT GET CONFUSED OVER SHORT TERM GAINS !

Make a price for yourself and if the price is $1,00 dont sell it for 0,9999999 !

Because you are thinking long term and if the price does not reach $1,00 it will hit it the next time !

AND NEVER SELL MORE THAN HALF AS WHAT YOUR TOTAL IS !

POS-system

I have say it before and i will say it again: in my opinion is a POS system the most stable blockchain there is. (because wallets are sustaining the blockchain and not computer-power)

And everybody is the same at OKCash !

Everybody gets the same interest on 1 OK !

And a staking system is one of the most natural economic aspects.

If you hold something, the system rewards you, because you make it stronger and more stable !

It is the same system as in a bank, but without the bank !

Thank you for reading, and i will see you next time !

Another OKCash story, and why i prefer a POS sytem.

The cryptocurrency revolution is reasonable new.

Nobody can see what the value is for the future, we only can guess.

That the blockchain technology is revolutionairy is one thing for sure !

If you are new to cryptocurrency's, than it is really difficult to choose which, from all those currency's out there.

I will give you my advise. ( keep it in mind, but dont let it choose for you ! )

First of all think about what you want to invest, dont invest more, than what you are willing to loose!

Making a start.

The best thing you can do is observe the markets, before you buy anything.

When that stage is complete, you make a top 10 for your self, and write all the positives and negatives on a paper.

Than we come to, what you want to invest.

(EXAMPLE)

What i did in this stage, is think what i want to invest, and that was a $1000 and started with $500 to invest.

Then i deposited every month $100 dollars more in to the cryptocurrency's.

What you have with this technique, if the currency's go lower and your initial price is higher, than you can lower your average price, by buying more, and it don't effect your total investment money on how much you wanted to spend.

And now you have cryptocurrency's !

And now?

Wait, Wait, Wait.

The best thing you can do is totally forget that you have cryptocurrency's!

Because you don't want to sell anything in the short term !

If you do, eventually it cost you money !

And don't panic... must i sell now? or now? or is it maybe now the right time?

If you have the feeling that you want to sell something, don't sell much.(and you can decide how much that is)

The problem exist, if you sell everything or a lot of it, and the price gains, than you never have the chance to obtain so much as what you initially have and than you missing a lot of income.

ICO's (Initial coin offering)

That question was a few days ago on the forum.

I personly have never invested in any ICO, and i never will be.

After the ICO has ended, you always can accumulate, after it, and sometimes for a better price !

What you really want is a currency that has proof of existence!

If you don't know what an ICO is: it is like a pre-order on a product that is not yet on the market.

Now we have say all of that.

How do you want to store your cryptocurreny's.

If you are new to wallets and how to store your crytpos, than my advise to you is: let your cryptos in the wallet of the exchange for a WHILE !

Learn the wallets, look at their video's, and make it easy for yourself.

Download the wallet, let it sync, write the wallet adress on a paper, back up the wallet, save the file, and delete the wallet again.
And do it over and over again, untill you have 2 or 3 back-up files, with all the adresses written on paper.

Than download the wallet and restore your adress!

Make a lot of scenarios for yourself with the wallet before you fund it !

Until you know that it can not possibly go wrong, because you are knowing what you are doing !

My trust and investments in POS and OKCash.

I am a huge fan of a POS sytem and you know why?

Because i think it is in the long run the most sustainable blockchain there is! (because wallets are sustaining the blockchain, not computer-power)

And all of the advantages you get, interest on the coins you have in your wallet, and when the price is reasonable friendly you don't see what interest really is.

If the price gains you can let the interest work for u, or you hold it and you never have to buy more, because you get them for FREE

A lot of the POS currency's dont have a max supply, OKCash has !

And we talking not about 15 billion coins, we talking about 105 million and that is just 5 times the max supply of Bitcoin.

OKCash gives everybody the same interest rate up to the year of 2148, and you will be the first man on earth to see that happen!

And you never have to buy a really expensive computer with a lot of power to earn OK

Buy, Stake and hold OKCash !  The interest rate is now at 10 % over the staked OKs

Don't let the markets fool you

And you will thank me later !

And yes, the price of OK is very friendly at this moment

Vote for what price you think OKCash will reach in 2020 !

Thank you for reading, and i will see you next time !

What you can try:

Is back up your wallet, and be sure you do it properly.

Install the wallet again and import the dat file.

What you also may try if you have 2 computers, is install the wallet on a second computer import the dat file and see if it works there.

Don't configure anything in options, let it run in default options.

I myself have no experience with windows 7.

This are simple things to try and it may can solve the problem you face.

Its only my advise and you dont have to listen to it, i am not a technical expert, everything you try is at your own risk.

Good luck

What do you think about ICOs?

I am not a huge fan of ICOs.

My advise to you:

Stay away from ICO!

Only invest in a cryptocurrency that has proof of existence

If you pick just the right one, you make some gains. But i personly think most of the ICOs are a trick, to spend your money on something totally useless.

In my eyes it is more like gambling in a casino on which number you bet on roulette.

BE AWARE

No scientific proof can be given, nor you can blame me on your investments

Hello Wareck,

17 ok is probably a little low.

The more Okcash you have in your wallet, the more frequent you get rewards.

Its also totally random when you get the rewards, sometimes it is multiple times on a day and sometimes it takes a few days.

I think the best balance for you is between 1000 and 5.000  :P

The more, the better  ;)

If your wallet is synched, and the wallet is running and you receive your ok's.

Than your Rpi is perfectly tuned !

It's up to the team, and maybe they do if they read this !

I personly want to see changes also.

This is my list:

1. a website with an okcash rocket that appear to be flying in space with the actual price of 1 OK.

2. A voting system with multiple choices what to do next, and the community can vote for what.

3. A .com staking web-wallet that there is no need for installations (option must always be available) and no need to run the computer all day for staking

4. A okcash fan merchandise website for buying polo-shirts, flags , caps and so on, and the webshop must support Okcash for cause.

5. An official okcash-faucet on the official website where people get free OK every half hour. with every dispense a small amount going to the OKcash for cause.

6. OKgiveaway every month free OK giveaways to gain more attention. Simple to use website with games like tetris and the top 10 get paid.

And so on.....

Be not so negative my friend.

Who knows what is possible in the future.

I say it before and say it again: Look where okcash was 2 years ago and where it is now!

If the community grows, the opportunities grow.

Look at the great project like : OKCash for Cause !

Screaming from the sidelines is very easy, but big time investors you can not ask for, they come to you or they don't.

Nobody knows what is possible in the future.

And yes there are a lot of cryptocurrencies but nothing like OKCash!

And whole youtube is talking like yes this an that, cryptocurrencies must bring something new.... What you want from a currency?

Its money only on a different level.

And Okcash is in much points better than the others!

If a currency have all day new videos, the whole website is full of advertising than it is for me more: likely untrusty, than a currency that is a project from small time developers with a passion for its project.

My question to you: do you like doing your groceries in a big supermarket or do you like it when you get your vegetables by a local farmer that do his work with passion?

I am for option 2!

Have a OKday !

There are 2 options:

1. Close the wallet en open it again.

2. Restart your computer

If the problem still continues the technical department must have a look on this.

Im getting your point here.

But you can tell me? Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? ( Creator of Bitcoin )

His true identity is never revealed.

And sure if there are real pictures with real names and everyone can see the dev team with texts like Why? Where? How? etc.. It will gain more trust.

But is this really necessery.... I dont know.

If the product is good, the goals are good, the updates are frequent and they have a clear roadmap.. what do i care if the name is peter or homer?

A lot of people look at youtube and searching for a guy that gives price predictions their opionion and so on....
Than their are a few guys that say... Okcash is a scheme look at their reddit look at their site BLA BLA BLA....

And a lot of people got scared to be a part of the community and a part of the project....

I like okcash because it is not perfect, yes and their is a lot of work to do.

But look where okcash was 2 years ago.. look where it is today. there is more going on than everybody can see.

Most people look at youtube, do what all people are doing, and buy immediately Bitcoin , ETH and so on....
You know why the prices are so high for those currency's? and is it really better than this?

1. It has a blockchain  2. Wallet that can send money to each other  3. It is ''private''

What you want more? A okcash spacecraft that is flying to the moon?

Who knows what is possible  ;)

The staking rewards depends on how much coins you have in your wallet.

The more coins you have the frequent you get rewards.

And its also totally random, one day you get 2/3 payouts and sometimes it can take a few days.

Leave your wallet open and stake on!

Succes

Yes they are making fun of the collaborators....

What i dont get... is that they want privacy in their money...

But the whole world must see who the makers are of the currency?

for me is privacy the key of cryptocurrency. This must be for the development team - collaborators and the end-users

It dont make any sense to me.
