In this topic we will discuss and look at nuclear / radioactive substances + nuclear based technologies and their safe usage in our daily life.
It is to be noted that my research is still in its infancy.
Some of the themes that will be discussed :
DIY and home based safe experiments with radioactive substances.
Safety , handling of "special" materials and any dangers that we might encounter in our research.
Power generation via nuclear batteries. and types of nuke batteries
Thorium based nuclear reactors and their pluses and minuses.
Uranium based nuclear reactors and their pluses and minuses.
Other types of reactors that might interest anyone will also be discussed.
Other usages of radioactive substances and radiation will probably be discussed
WARNING: this is not a a place for fear mongering nor it is a place to extend the endless disputes related to nuclear energy , we are here do have calm conversations and replicate real world concepts of power generation .
